Suspect In Skiatook Police Chase Now In Custody

Tulsa Police Officers were called to assist Skiatook Police in a chase Sunday morning.

TULSA COUNTY, Okla. -

Skiatook Police confirmed that the suspect from an early morning chase is in custody.

Police say 30-year-old Whitney Jo Hughart drove away from officers after a traffic stop around 5:30 a.m. Skiatook police followed and called Tulsa Police for assistance as the chase neared the city limit. Police say, Hughart, abandoned the car and ran off on foot but was caught sometime later. Hughart had warrants out for her arrest and was booked into the Osage County Jail on multiple complaints including DUI and Eluding an officer.
