20 People Naturalized At Tulsa City Hall: ‘It’s A Privilege’

20 people from 11 countries became U.S. citizens at Tulsa City Hall Thursday.

People there said they’re very excited to start this new chapter in their lives.

“It’s just kind of like a new beginning. It’s something very special that not very many people get to do, honestly it’s a privilege to be able to do it because I know everybody doesn’t get the same opportunity that I do,” one new citizen said.

People taking their oath were allowed to bring one guest. Everyone wore masks and chairs were spaced out.
