Traditionally, this is the week Oklahomans must have their taxes filed. This year, taxpayers have been granted another two months to get everything turned in.
The deadline is now Tuesday, June 15 for both personal and business tax filings. The IRS said the extension is for those affected by February’s winter storms.
The extension is for all 77 counties in Oklahoma. You do not have to request anything; the IRS said they automatically identify the taxpayers who live and have businesses in the covered disaster areas.
