Police Arrest Man Accused Of Severely Beating His Mother

Tulsa police arrested a man accused of severely beating his mother Friday night.

Authorities said Andy Perez attacked his mother with a hammer, causing multiple skull fractures, broken eye sockets and a broken jaw.

They also said Perez refused to allow her to leave or receive medical treatment for three days after the assault.

After those three days, the woman escaped and called 911.

Perez has been booked into the Tulsa County jail on assault and battery, kidnapping and larceny complaints.
