Two Tulsa Police Officers will receive the Oklahoma Purple Heart.
Officer Aurash Zarkeshan and the late Sgt. Craig Johnson are being recognized for their bravery during a traffic stop in 2020.
The Oklahoma Purple Heart is given to first responders who are seriously injured while on duty.
The Governor gives the award on behalf of the State each year.
