The U.S. Treasury Department has released how much money cities and counties will get from President Biden's "American Rescue Plan."

President Biden signed the nearly $2 trillion COVID-19 relief package in March, with a goal of helping Americans still struggling due to the pandemic.

Some of the money went to stimulus checks for individuals and families, but $350 billion of it was set aside for state and local governments.

The U.S. Treasury Department said the City of Tulsa will get more than $87.8 million dollars and Tulsa County will receive more than $126.5 million.

That money will come in two deposits. The city and county will get 50% this month, then they will receive the rest next May.

Broken Arrow is set to receive $13.7 million.

Oklahoma City and Oklahoma County will receive the largest amounts, $122.5 million dollars and nearly $155 million, respectively.

The money can be used for COVID-related expenses and infrastructure.
