The Bixby Metro Chamber of Commerce is launching a new program to get young professionals engaged in the community and help set them up for future success. The program is called “YoPros,” and targets people between the ages of 21 and 40 years old.

Organizers behind the program said Bixby is one of the fastest-growing communities in Oklahoma, so it is important to have a program of this nature. The first meeting is set for Wednesday night and will be an open house-style event to learn more about the program and meet some of the organizers.

Eventually, YoPros will offer volunteer events for participants to get involved in the community. Members will also receive resources and mentorship to help them be successful.

The first meeting will take place at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at the Charley Young Event Park.
