The Tulsa City Council is expected to address the ongoing issues for residents at the Vista Shadow Mountain apartment complex during the Public Works Committee meeting on Wednesday. The outcome could include ordinance and other code violations affecting the owners and residents.

The city council’s agenda stated the groups involved in the discussion will include the Tulsa Fire Department, Working In Neighborhoods Department and Housing Solutions. They are expected to talk about the problems in the complex within the last couple of weeks and possible solutions.

What started off as concerns around an overdue water bill eventually escalated into the Tulsa Fire Department ordering the owners of the complex to move everyone out by July 21st. Representatives with the fire department said conditions are so bad, no one should live there.
