OHP Reports Fatality Collison In Delaware County

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has released new details about a fatal wreck that took place Thursday morning.

According to the OHP, a 2011 Chevy Malibu veered off the road and struck a tree about six miles south and five miles west of Jay, OK.

Troopers have not released the identity of the victim, who authorities say died on the scene from their injuries.

The OHP has not released any details into what may have caused the car to drive off the road and troopers are still actively investigating the cause of the collision.
