A Tulsa family of four staying in a hotel after being forced to leave their home at Vista Shadow Mountain.
Tiffani Germany said on top of having to move out, her family has only some clothes and the shoes on their feet, since everything else was stolen.
"It's been a whirlwind. It really has," Germany said.
In just one week, Germany and her three kids were forced to move out of her home and came back to nearly all their belongings stolen.
"I'm sorry, it's just, it's devastating," Germany said.
They've lived at Vista Shadow Mountain for a year and a half, until a little over a week ago.
The Tulsa Fire Marshal ordered all residents to leave due to unsafe living conditions.
Germany got her notice a week before the deadline, so she packed all their things in boxes.
The night before, they stayed in a hotel since the beds were taken apart and she turned off the electricity.
The next morning, they came back to move out.
"I turn the key, and I have nothing," Germany said.
Photos show clothes scattered across the floor, boxes unpacked and almost everything else, gone.
"They even took our little house shoes that we wear around the house," Germany said.
She says she was in disbelief. Even box springs and her son's football gear were missing.
She says some winter clothes, the washing machine, the dryer and mattresses are about all that's left.
"The worst day of our life, and then we come back, and our stuff is gone. Talk about violated," Germany said.
She's waiting on security footage, hoping someone might be caught on camera.
"They took advantage of an already unfortunate, horrible situation," Germany said.
Germany filed a report with the Tulsa Police Department.
She said she also plans to file a lawsuit against the complex.
But in the meantime, she'll keep searching for a three-bedroom apartment for her family.
