Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said the driver of a semi-truck had to be rescued by firefighters after crashing in Craig County.
Troopers told News On 6 that the wreck happened around 1 a.m. on Wednesday morning on I-44 near Vinita.
Investigators said the driver went into a ditch and then rolled over. They said the driver’s leg was pinned for about 20 minutes until Vinita firefighters were able to free him.
According to Troopers, inattentive driving was likely the cause of the crash. The wreck left lots of debris scattered and did significantly damaged the cab of the truck.
The driver was able to walk on his own to an ambulance. Troopers said he suffered only minor injuries.
