Man Charged With DUI, Manslaughter For Deadly Crash Now In Custody

A man who’s been on the run for more than a month is in custody.

Police said in June, 33-year-old James Cato was high on marijuana, driving without a license, speeding and passing in a no-passing zone when he crashed into Lind Dilley’s car head-on.

Dilley was killed in the crash near 21st and Memorial.

Cato was injured and taken to a hospital, but police said he was discharged before charges were filed.

Cato is now charged with manslaughter and DUI.
