Tulsa Diner Can Now Help More Customers In Need With Help From New Partnership

The owners at Flo's Burger Diner said their purpose is to feed people whether they can pay or not.

"My family serves anybody in need. Anybody can come through the door there's a no questions asked policy," said owner Brandy Adkins.

For the last 8 years, Brandy Adkins, owner, arranges what she calls 'Family Meals' that help feed those in need.

"We may spend $700- $800 but we feed 350 plus people. So, I mean, the math on that is doable. Anybody can do it," said Adkins.

Adkins said the money to pay for these meals comes straight from her profits at Flo's Burger Diner, so, she's always accepting donations. And last week she received a big one from Milo's.

"They had heard about my family meals and some of the stuff we do on the side for others, and she wanted to donate. It was like over 350 of the Milo's Sweet Tea and they all come in six-packs, and they all really brought them up here," said Adkins.

What does she plan to do with the drinks?

"We're going to give them all out," said Adkins.

Adkins said she wants to continue the blessing. She plans to include the drinks in the next family meal and gift them to an organization...Angels against Trafficking.

"All of these women who either have been in trafficking, trying to escape from it, or trying not to get into it," said Adkins.

Adkins says if you're working to help people in need, just reach out.

"Any organization that's in need. If we're not going to have a family meal right away, I'll donate them to them," said Adkins.

Her message to Milo's?

"Thank you. There's not much really more I can say. Thank you," said Adkins.
