Watch: Live Jet Pack Show Flies High Above The Tulsa State Fair

There's something brand new at the Tulsa State Fair and it might be unlike anything you've seen before.

Most of us have seen a circus, but probably not a circus on water. Well for the first time, the fair is showcasing a jetpack flying circus.

Jessica Meike is the announcer for the Nerveless Nocks Flying Circus. She says she and her husband came up with the traveling act after the pandemic.

"We said 'do you think they can do this in a pool?' And, as soon as you challenge these guys to do just about anything they rise to the occasion, and that’s just exactly what happened,” said Meike. 

Performers Troy Stowe and Brandon Schleicher are all smiles but what they're doing is harder than it looks.

"We are trusting each other with our lives, and there are times when he has to gas it to keep me from going out of the pool and vice versa," said Schleicher.

"Everything is calculated every move is calculated, every turn, twist, the flip has to be perfect there’s no room for error out there," Stowe added. 

These stuntmen go over 50 feet high all while doing flips and turns. They've traveled all over the county and are happy to share their show with Tulsa.

"It's all about the people. They mean the world to us, and we love putting on a show for them," Stowe said. 

Also, this year fairgoers can expect more diversity on the concert stage.

"Making sure we sent out a message of inclusivity for the fair it's special because it sets a president for other organizations in Tulsa," said Margarita Vega with Vega Trevino Consulting.

Whether you're singing along in a chair or getting soaked in the stands there's something for everyone.  

The circus and concerts are all free with the purchase of a fair ticket -- and you can catch the Jetpack flying circus show at 5 p.m., 7 p.m., and 9 p.m. every night here at the fair.
