The state health department says that 78 school districts applied for the optional COVID-19 testing grant, which means more schools in Oklahoma will have access to the testing.
The program lets districts randomly test students and teachers each week for the virus.
The state health department hopes the testing will cut down on COVID-19 cases.
The grants add up to about $12 million.
