A strong line of storms swept through Green Country on Friday morning bringing gusty winds and heavy rainfall.
Storms first entered northeast Oklahoma around 2 a.m. triggering Severe Thunderstorm warnings for parts of central Oklahoma.
The storm, which moved eastward, swept through the Tulsa metro around 3 a.m. and left little damage in its path.
Alan Crone says these early morning storms have moved into Arkansas and fall-like weather is expected to return for the weekend.

A storm system that began moving through Green Country early on Friday morning is once again picking up traction near Eufaula moving east at 40 mph. Alan Crone says that this system has the potential to produce gusty winds.

The leading edge of this storm has the potential to produce incredibly strong winds. As the leading edge approached Checotah, 60 mph winds were recorded.
Areas near Bacone and Crekole in the path of this storm have seen winds as high as 55 mph.
Update 3:02 a.m. October 15, 2021
Alan Crone says noisy storms are moving across the Tulsa metro and some hail and torrential rain are possible for certain areas.
A more intense storm is moving into southern Okmulgee County. Alan Crone says wind gusts over 60 mph are possible from this storm.
A Flood Advisory has been issued for Creek, Osage and Tulsa counties until 3:15 a.m.

Update 2:44 a.m. October 15, 2021:
The strongest area of this storm is currently moving across the Okemah area.
News On 6 Storm Tracker JD McManus spotted winds moving around 50 mph in Okemah.
Alan Crone says that the cell moving across the area will continue moving eastward toward Okmulgee and Beggs.

Update 2:33 a.m. October 15, 2021:
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Okfuskee and Okmulgee County until 3:15 a.m.

The News On 6 weather team is following thunderstorms that could be strong-to-severe in some areas.
Currently most of the severe storm activity is located along both sides of the I-40 corridor.
Meteorologist Alan Crone says a cell located west of Tulsa, near Mannford, may produce small hail.
