A woman from Kansas blazed a new trail for runners with her win in the Boston Marathon.
Liz Willis was crowned the marathon's first-ever Para-Athletic division winner.
Running in the race was a goal she had growing up, but she thought it would be impossible after pregnancy complications caused doctors to amputate her leg.
But she kept running and is hoping to inspire others.
"That is why we live here on earth is to make the world a better place by using our talents and gifts and running happens to be mine. Why not use it to encourage kids, youth, adults to pursue their dreams?" Willis said.
Liz also ran at the 2016 Rio ParaOlympic Games.
