Organizers said Sunday was about creating a fellowship for the community and a whole bunch of fun.
"This is an opportunity for kids to see people in North Tulsa doing good things for them," said Heather Nash.
Heather Nash is the organizer of the Blocktober Harvest Festival.
She said this event began six years ago when she noticed some people didn't feel safe participating in the Halloween traditions.
"Some people didn't even want to open up their door in North Tulsa to trick or treaters so that's when we created the harvest festival," said Nash.
And ever since the festival began the community has fallen in love with it.
"We want to be around our community," said Vincent Hardridge.
Vincent Hardridge and his family have not missed a single Harvest Festival.
He said the bounce house and bags of candy are something that keeps them coming back.
But the way this unites the community, that's the real treat.
"This is a way for kids in our community to all get together to see each other and kind of have like a community trick or treating event where we know a lot of the families," said Tamra Hardridge.
The family said they're thankful that the organizers made this happen for their community.
"They got a group that helps us come together to make sure that this event is available to North Tulsa kids and so it's just - I'm glad to see it's getting bigger and bigger every year."
Several families said they're already looking forward to next year.
