Woman Shot Twice In Back, TPD Investigating

Tulsa Police say a woman should be okay after she was shot in the back Saturday morning.

The shooting happened around 1 a.m. in a neighborhood near 46th Street North and MLK.

Police say the woman's husband called 911 and told dispatchers she was shot in the back.

Tulsa firefighters on the scene reported the victim was shot twice and took her to the hospital.

Officers say the victim's husband was also inside the home when the shooting happened.

Police have not said who shot the woman or if they're looking for anyone right now.

No names have been released at this time.
