Cherokee Nation Hiring 10 Certified Teachers To Help Expand Cherokee Language Program

The Cherokee Nation is looking to hire 10 certified teachers to help expand its Cherokee Language Program.

The tribe says the new teachers will also help fill positions left by many employees who are at or near retirement. 

Applicants are not required to speak Cherokee, they will be trained as part of the program.
