Tulsa Transit says it will soon be adding a second rapid-bus service line that will run along Route 66.
Transit leaders say the line goes from Downtown Tulsa, on 11th Street, to Garnett, and then down to 21st to connect at the Eastgate Metroplex. Tulsa Transit is holding public meetings about the line, and in-person meetings later this week to get input from the community.
“We are excited to create a second BRT line,” said Liann Alfaro, Tulsa Transit Director of Planning and Marketing. “This will be another great opportunity to expand our system with a fast and reliable route.”
The new bus line will go into service in 2024.
