TULSA, Oklahoma -

A Daisy Girl Scout Troop made up of Tulsa 1st graders is collecting coats for kids in need!

"When they became a Daisy which was only last year, they made a promise, part of that promise was to serve God and our country and to help others at all times," said Khanh Agrawal.

The girls wanted to be a part of Trav's Coats for Kids and help collect coats for kids in need.

"Oklahoma weather, it can be hot one day and frigid the next day and you see those kids without coats, it just isn't right," said Travis Meyer.

Donated coats can be dropped off at Yale Cleaners in Tulsa, Owasso, Sapulpa, or Broken Arrow.

"We have been asking our neighbors our family and friends, coworkers, church members, anyone do you have coats that you want to give," said Agrawal.

If you need a coat, stop by one of Trav's Coats for Kids Distribution Centers at First Baptist Tulsa or the Caring Center South.

"They are the most giving, loving girls always thinking of others and each other, and also they have great parents who have been super involved as well," said Agrawal.

Keep an eye on these girls compassion like theirs' can change the world.

"Thank you Daisies!" said Trav!
