Oklahoma's electric companies are preparing to discuss how the state would respond to another deep freeze, similar to the one that struck in February of 2021.
February's historic storm resulted in higher bills for many, for years to come
The utilities will discuss recommendations from federal agencies, including preventing the use of critical natural gas infrastructure, on Tuesday at the next Oklahoma Corporation Commission Meeting.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. in room 301 of the Jim Thorpe State Office Building.
