Tulsa Fire Department Sees Largest Training Class To Date

The Tulsa Fire Department is training its largest class of cadets ever.

The new academy started Monday at the TFD Safety Training Center.

60 cadets are now in training to become firefighters.

The Fire Department said it is able to have such a large class because of a $12-million grant from FEMA.

The cadets are scheduled to graduate in June.
