2 Hospitalized After Shooting At Tulsa Apartment Complex

Police are investigating an early morning double shooting that left two people hospitalized on Wednesday.

According to police, the shooting took place at the Towne Square Apartments near Apache and North Peoria at around 2:30 a.m.

Police say a 27-year-old man was hanging out with friends when a 17-year-old came over asking for him. Witnesses told police the two men started talking and eventually started arguing.

Police say that was when both men pulled out a gun and started shooting at each other.

Officers say the gun battle continued as the two ran across the parking lot from one apartment building to another.

Police say both of the men were shot, but the 27-year-old suffered critical injuries. Police say the 17-year-old is not in critical condition.

Both men were taken to the hospital and police say they will be facing charges once they are released.

Police say it doesn't appear that anyone else was injured in the shooting.
