Oklahoma is getting nearly $300 million from the U.S. Department of Transportation to fix dozens of bridges.
The state department of transportation said there are at least 65 bridges in serious need of repair.
The state said it has already fixed more than 1,000 bridges over the past 15 years.
"So we made huge progress. At the same time, we have almost 1,200 bridges that are 80 years old. So our job is not done," said Tim Gatz, Secretary of Transportation.
Oklahoma Department of Transportation said the money will also be used to help fund its 8-year construction plan, which was approved in October.
