Warm End To January, Wintry Weather Expected To Kickoff February

The upcoming week will have a little bit of everything, starting with warmth and ending with winter weather.

Highs temperatures across Green Country will be in the 60s for Sunday and Monday, but we’re expecting some rain chances for Tuesday. 

A cold front will likely move in Tuesday night to make it feel more like winter, according to News On 6 Meteorologist Megan Gold.

The front will bring us into the 20s with a rain and snow mix during the day Wednesday.

Meteorologist Clint Boone expects winter weather to arrive in NE Oklahoma around 7 a.m. on Wednesday.

Snow is expected Thursday, but the severe cold will come at the end of the work wee. Friday temperatures could dip into the single digits or dive below zero degrees.
