Groundbreaking For Bales Park Trail System Begins Next Week

Tulsa City and Parks officials will be breaking ground on a new trail system at Bales park starting next Tuesday.

Almost three and a half miles of trails are being built at the park, with construction being funded by a $190,000 donation.

Bike Club Tulsa and the Tulsa Housing Authority plan to co-host events at the park after the trails are built.

Officials said because this part of Tulsa is so isolated, the trail system will have a bigger impact on residents.
