City Of Jenks Selected New Police Chief During Council Meeting

The city of Jenks has a new police chief. City leaders selected 23-year-veteran Jason Jackson for the position during a council meeting, after the former chief retired.

Chief Jackson started working at the Jenks Police Department in 1998 and has served on the Special Operations Team, is a CLEET instructor, and an Incident Command Instructor.

He said his goal as chief is to foster a strong relationship between officers and citizens.
