Major League Fishing REDCREST Outdoor Expo Kicks Off In Tulsa

The Major League Fishing REDCREST Outdoor Expo kicked off on Friday at the Tulsa Fairgrounds.

Fans can watch the tournament, meet the anglers, check out more than 130 booths, and can even learn how to fish from the pros. Outdoor lovers and vendors filled Expo Square for the first day of the Outdoor Sports Expo. All three Oklahoma pro-anglers are competing in Day One of the Knockout Round.

 Ten anglers compete Friday and 10 on Saturday ahead of Sunday's finals. Anyone can watch the MLF Live Broadcast at the Expo and listen to the commentators on stage.

 "It's a great expo. I haven't seen anything like this previously. I've been to smaller expos, but nothing as big as this one,” said attendee Don Caroll.

 Fishing, boating, hunting, camping; if it involves the outdoors, you can probably find it at this Expo.

 There's even a place for kids to try their hands and make memories.

 Four ponds are filled with catfish for families to be part of the action.

 Pro-anglers will be there throughout the day like Chris Lane, who is part of the Bass Pro Tour.

 "What's awesome about it is that its free admission. Bring the kids, come out, catch fish, go through, meet all the pros, listen to seminars, great deals from all the great sponsors in the industry,” Lane said.

 Thousands of people with common goals, interests, and hobbies are all under one roof.
