Editor's Note: DA Mike Fisher confirmed that Sonny Trujillo has been released from jail. Fisher said Trujillo's release is due to eyewitness testimony.

The wife of a man murdered over the weekend in eastern Pawnee County said her grief tonight is profound.

Nicole McClary said she and her husband Kyle were together longer than they were apart. He was her provider, such a giver, and was living his best life when she said he was murdered in their backyard. “We have a perfect life; we did. We did,” said Nicole McClary. His nickname was ‘Keystone Kyle’.

“I spent my whole life with him. I’ve been with him since I was 16 years old. Have two beautiful babies. I don’t know what we’re going to do,” said Nicole. “I’m raw and exposed without my husband.”

She said her husband of 19 years was loved by everybody. Nicole said he was hilarious, caring, the strongest man she ever knew, and the best dad to their 15 and 12-year-old daughters. “He’s a man’s man. Every man loves him,” said Nicole. “He is self-made. He made his own businesses by himself. With the help of me of course. I’m the neck, he’s the head.”

Deputies said Kyle and another man were stabbed to death at Edge Water RV Park at around 10 p.m. on Saturday. The Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office said there was a fish fry when the fight started. Deputies arrested Sonny Trujillo and Isaiah Lopez, who had left and were headed to their homes in Oklahoma City.

“They were murdered in cold blood. Stabbed multiple times. My husband suffered so bad. You don’t even want to know how many the cops just told me. It’s sickening,” said Nicole. “[…] Kyle and his friend lost his life over nothing. A senseless act. Forever taken away from me and my life. The best man ever, and if you knew him, you know.”

She said they’ve lived in Cleveland for 10 years. “We moved off the west side to get away from this and it happened in our own backyard literally. By people we barely knew,” said McClary.

Deputies said Lopez left with his significant other and their young child who is under the age of six. They said Lopez’s significant other convinced him to turn himself into the Oklahoma City Jail.

Police pulled over Trujillo in Oklahoma City less than a block from his house. Pawnee County deputies traveled to OKC to pick up Trujillo and Lopez before booking each of them into the Pawnee County Jail on two counts of first-degree murder and one count of accessory to murder.

“Within six hours we had two people in custody. That’s pretty incredible on a double homicide,” said Undersheriff Nick Mahoney.

Nicole has a message for the men accused of killing her husband. “You took my whole life. I hope we can take yours too. And no, I’m not sorry,” said Nicole. “[…] We want justice. And I won’t rest until we get complete justice. So that’s all I can do. I’m going to fight for my husband forever. Forever. Forever.”

The Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office said OSBI, and the DA’s office are assisting in the investigation.
