TU Starting QB Position Is Still Competitive Says New Head Coach

Kevin Wilson was on the field with TU for the first time as the Golden Hurricane continues spring practice.

Braylon Braxton is the presumed starter at quarterback this season, but Wilson says he still expects competition for the starting job.

He's one of the most respected guys by the team, he is a great worker. He is in competition though, those other guys are pretty good there and we need more than one guy. So, no one has been anointed, but he's in a position to be an impact player. I think he could be a special player," said Wilson.

TU's season begins this September against the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
