Tulsa Man Accused Of Causing Crash, Brake-Checking Other Drivers

A Tulsa man has been arrested after state troopers say he caused a crash during a road rage incident.

Witnesses told OHP that Jovoni Gonzalez had been weaving in and out of traffic, throwing items out of his car, and brake-checking other drivers on Monday on Highway 66 just north of Claremore. They say Bobby and Mary Bridges collided with Gonzalez after he brake-checked them. The crash sent their vehicle airborne about 70 feet and off the road.

Gonzalez was booked for two counts of assault and battery involving great bodily injury and one count of throwing objects at moving vehicles.

Bobby and Mary Bridges were driven by an ambulance to an area hospital where they were admitted with serious injuries.
