A Jenks family is heartbroken after losing almost everything in a house fire.
The mom says she's so glad everyone is safe, says this is her kids' childhood home and she's just sick for them.
"It was just so fast because from the time I just flew up the stairs to the time I came back down, I was like suffocating, the smoke just came so fast," said Michelle Hahn Graves.
Michelle says she made sure her family was out safe Tuesday morning and then watched as the roof caved in and flames took over. She says it's a devastating loss during what's been a tough time for her family.
"Starting the first of the year, getting back on our feet with some things, and then this happens, it's just been a really difficult few months," she said.
She had knee surgery a few months ago and has been recovering. Then, earlier this year her bank account was compromised which caused her home insurance to lapse.
She says this has been the only home her kids have known, and she is heartbroken for them.
"To have something like this happen, especially on the heels of graduating, this has been their true one constant place, this has been their safe place," she said.
She says she's so grateful for all of the help she and her family have already gotten but knows there's a long road ahead.
"Just lots and lots of prayers, especially for my kids, just so we can navigate this road, because we really are taking it one day at a time," she said.
