A Citywide Baby Shower is happening this weekend in the form of a donation drive across the Tulsa metro.
It's hosted by Emergency Infant Services to collect necessities for families in need. Emergency Infant Services wants to help growing families. That's the idea behind this weekend's Citywide Baby Shower. The main items needed are diapers, formula, and wipes, all going out to support families and children five and under.
You can also drop off donations at its main location downtown or at 10 Aldi and Walmart locations across town on Saturday.

The non-profit is collecting anything an infant or child may need from clothing to car seats and baby food. Also this weekend, EIS is launching its new mobile service unit.
The unit allows the organization to deliver essentials to new mothers and families. Board President Mike Vegher says the group is on track to give away more than one million diapers this fiscal year helping 18,000 babies.
"We're seeing record numbers of clients and we need to provide emergency assistance to children five and under. And so this is a big way to collect these items that will go out to our community here in Tulsa," Vegher said.
The donation drive is Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
