ODOT Warns Of Scam Targeting Cherokee County Residents

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) is warning people about a scam that is going around.

ODOT says the scam involves an email that is addressed to Cherokee County residents telling them that they have a moving violation in a work zone at the junction of U.S. Highway 62 and State Highway 82.

ODOT says it does not issue violations and advises anyone who receives the email not to click on any links and to delete it.
