Trooper-Involved Crash Temporarily Closes I-244 In Tulsa

Part of Interstate 244 was shut down Saturday afternoon because of a crash involving a trooper.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said all three eastbound lanes were closed just east of Yale at 4:30 p.m.

As of 6 p.m., the roadway is back open according to OHP

An OHP vehicle was seen being taken away from the scene on a wrecker.

No word on any injuries at this time.
