Wreck On I-40 Causes Traffic Jam

A wreck on Interstate 40 and Robinson in the westbound lanes caused a road closure, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Even once cleared, there was a lengthy traffic jam.

The crash has diverted traffic at I-40 westbound to I-35, OHP says.

All westbound lanes were closed west of the Ft. Smith junction, OHP says. According to OHP, there was an oil spill.

The southbound ramp to westbound I-40 and the on-ramp from Martin Luther King Ave were also closed, according to OHP.
