The holidays are kicking off in Grove and Grand Lake with some big events for the season.
First off, ice skating on Friday. Britt Malone, the director of the Grove Convention and Tourism Bureau, said it started last year and between 3,000-4,000 people visited.
This year, they've added 16 feet of ice lengthwise and the rink is four feet wider, over 3000 square feet.
It's located in the heart of downtown Grove and includes a shade structure, lights, and everything else.
Then, there's the Ozark Mountain Village and the Har-ber Village Museum, where vendors with wine tasting, holiday lights and enjoy the night every weekend up until Christmas from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The museum and event is located at 4404 W 20th St. in Grove, Oklahoma.
In January, the City of Grove debuts a three-week "Entertainment Series." It starts with Aaron Raddatz, a world-renowned magician seen in Vegas and around the country. His show with be at the Fordham Art Center.
The next weekend on Jan. 28, Ned Ledoux comes to town. He's a country artist with three albums released.
