Volunteer Opportunities Made Accessible Through Tulsa Area United Way

As the holiday season ramps up, a lot of organizations are in need of volunteers. Tulsa Area United Way has a platform that puts many of those opportunities in one place.

The organization said the need for volunteers typically goes up around the holiday season.

There's something for everyone, from helping out at the Tulsa Day Center, to the Salvation Army.

To help people find out about the different volunteer opportunities, United Way has brought them to you. This includes organizations you might not be as familiar with.

"It’s really just an easy way for people to find a bunch of different opportunities all in one place. So they might see an organization that they’re very familiar with, like Family and Children Services. And then they might see organizations that they did not know it was in the community like Owasso Community Resources," said Lauren Collins, TAUW Director of Marketing and Communications.
