The suspect accused of shooting and killing a 24-year-old man Friday night at a Tulsa convenience store has been arrested.
Tulsa Police said Jaquan Stites was arrested and accused of manslaughter, assault and battery with a deadly weapon and as a felon in possession of a firearm.
TPD said officers responded to a shooting call at the Kwick Stop gas station near 61st and Peoria at 8 p.m.
A woman told police her boyfriend was shot in the head and she was shot in the chest. She told police there was an altercation in the parking lot that led to the shooting.
Police found Kareem King with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to a hospital and died a short time later.
Officers then responded to a separate call at an apartment near East 64th Place and Newport Ave. where a suspect matching the description of this shooting was arrested.
