Winter weather is impacting driving conditions around northeastern Oklahoma.
According to the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, eastbound I-44 also known as the Will Rogers Turnpike is closed northeast of SH-10 at Miami due to a multi-vehicle crash.
"Drivers are advised to expect possible delays of up to several hours in this section of the turnpike. OTA crews are working with first responders to clear the area as quickly as possible."
The Turnpike Authority said that the roads are not overly slick, the blowing snow is causing poor visibility, especially at high speeds.
The turnpike remains closed as of 4 p.m.
