Owasso School Board Approves $8.3 Million To Fund District Improvement Projects

That money comes from a nearly $84 million bond passed back in the Spring of 2022.

OWASSO, Okla. -

The Owasso School Board approved $8.3 million worth of projects across the district.

That money comes from a nearly $84 million bond passed back in the Spring of 2022.

The funding will impact several schools across the district over five years.

"We have money in this current authorization for a safe room to be built at Hodson Elementary, for some remodel of our high school track facilities, for a safe room to be built at the 8th-grade center as well," said Phillip Storm with Owasso Public Schools.

The district said some money will also be used to re-roof several schools.
