Why is hoof care important?

The hoofs can be directly related to problems with health, comfort, and environment.

If a cow isn’t comfortable, it can’t walk or graze and eat. It can also affect weight gain and milk production, and cause poor reproduction.

What can cause lameness in cows?

Lameness can happen due to foot rot, fractures, abscesses in the hoof, genetics, and overfeeding.
