Suspect In Custody Following Hours-Long Standoff At Bartlesville Home

An hours-long standoff in Bartlesville ended with an armed suspect in custody after police responded to a possible domestic abuse situation on Friday.

Bartlesville Police said the suspect is now in custody. No other details were provided.

Police said officers responded to the house near East Drive and Hazel Road just before noon.

BPD said officers learned the man inside was armed after the homeowner shared a live video from inside the residence.

Police said it showed him pointing a firearm at officers out the window.

A perimeter was set around the home and mental health professionals were at the scene with authorities, police said.

Police did not confirm if anyone else was inside the home.
