The near record high temperatures are bringing more people outdoors.
Several folks took advantage of the weather on Tuesday to spend some time at the park.
People at LaFortune Park were partaking in all sorts of activities.
The warm weather brought many kids and parents like Emily Williams to the playground.
“When you have kids this age, I think you spend a lot of the winter kind of cooped up, so it's really nice when the spring comes," she said.
Her children, Thomas and Bryce, got their energy out by taking a dozen trips down the slide.
Over the bridge, Alexandra Najjar was getting her own form of exercise--rollerblading.
"I think we all needed the pick me up,” she said. “It was really gloomy, and we got some sun, some warmth we got to take advantage of it."
Old friends Rachel Clanton and Emmanuelle Fawcett took advantage of the sunshine by spending time together.
"I am crocheting, and she was showing me her sketchbook today."
As the buds return to the trees, Paul Roberson says walking around with his children boosts his mood.
"Being outside is important for your physical and mental health and probably emotional health,” he said. “Probably keeps you level-headed, taking the sun in and the other elements. I don't think being cooped up is going to help you sometimes. You just need to walk around, go outside."
