The family of a man who has been missing for a week is desperate for answers on where he could be.
The family, as well as Tulsa Police, continue to search Mohawk Park because it is the last place Chris Coulston was seen last Wednesday.
Coulston’s family says it is hard to believe their dad would just disappear. His daughters say the last week has been unbearable as they try to find him.
“Torture,” said Brandy Coulston, one of Chris’ daughters. “I can confidently say it’s been the worst week of my life.”
Mohawk Park used to be unfamiliar to the family, but in the last seven days, it is where they have spent most of their time.
“We don’t come to this park,” said Christina Gray, another one of Coulston’s daughters. “He takes the kids to the park all the time. This is not one that be brings the grandkids to.”
Christina and Brandy have unanswered questions about what their dad was doing in the park and why his truck was left along the roadway near the golf course. They say their dad was seen driving into the park last Wednesday evening, but have not heard from him since.
The sisters and dozens of other people have searched the area to find their dad. Tulsa Police are also looking.
“He doesn’t just vanish,” said Gray. “He doesn’t just leave town. He doesn’t hike. So, when they said that his phone had been in the trail, that doesn’t make sense for us.”
Coulston lives with one of his daughters. They say their dad is a happy man who loves spending time with his grandkids.
“We talk to each other almost daily,” said Gray. “He has never done this. He would have no reason to do this. He knows that we are worried about him and that we are looking for him. He would not do this.”
The sisters are hoping to get any lead on where their dad could be. While they feel time is not on their side, they are holding onto hope.
“We just want to bring him home either way,” said Brandy.
Tulsa Police say they will continue search efforts and have not ruled out any possibility of Coulston’s disappearance.
Anyone with information should call Tulsa Police.
