Enjoy The Autumn Spirit At Oklahoma Heritage Farm Fall Festival

For one month out of every year, 40 acres of land in Ramona is used for more than farming.

Oklahoma Heritage Farm started doing a Fall Festival about a decade ago.

"I thought it was fun to build a maze and let people come through it and I like to educate people on what we do, farming, and what it is all about," said co-owner Clayton Ullrich.

It is a family-owned, 5th-generation working farm. His mother and father run the store on-site selling fresh produce year-round.

"Both of my grandpa's were farmers and I grew up around that and we kind of took it on," he said. "My kids want to follow that, and they help me with it."

The Oklahoma Heritage Farm Fall Festival is not your typical pumpkin patch, but that is what Jacey Long loves about it.

"I love how it is like you can have so many age levels for kids that come here, and everyone benefits from it and it is fun for all," she said.

She is visiting from Pawhuska with other homeschool families.

"We came last week and our kids loved it. It has been fun, our kids enjoyed it, so we wanted to come back again," Long added.

Every year the farm adds something new to the long list of activities. This time it was pig races, but the favorite continues to be its pumpkin cannon.

"If they make it through the tires they can go down there and claim a large pumpkin to take home," said Ullrich.

Blaster Tickets get kids ages 3-18 access to a variety of activities during the festival including the pumpkin cannon. Those tickets are $1 each or $18 for 20.
