Owasso Hit-And-Run Suspect Turns Self In

A man wanted in the deadly hit-and-run in Owasso has turned himself into police.

Jedediah Perkey was arrested for leaving the scene of the crash that killed Collinsville resident Darrell Glen Abadie, 39, January 15, 2012.

Abadie was walking along Garnett near 126th Street North in Owasso, when he was struck and killed.

Police say tips led them to Perkey who apparently confessed to the crime just a day after it happened. His 2004 Ford pick-up truck was also taken into custody on January 16, 2012.

Police say Perkey turned himself into police Friday in the parking lot of his employer. He will be booked into the Tulsa County Jail later today.
