There is now a new fleet of electric powered bicycles available to rent throughout parts of Tulsa.
This Machine put out their fleet of new electric-powered bicycles across the Tulsa area on Monday, and they are on the streets now and ready for you to use.
This Machine says the electric bikes cost 15 cents a minute to rent and will replace all the traditional bikes they had before.
This Machine says the bikes are allowed on River Parks trails and, although they're electric, This Machine says they provide about 90-percent of the same heart healthy benefits of regular pedal bikes.
This Machine hopes the electric bikes will be more accessible to a wider range of people.
Right now, the bikes are available in the downtown and midtown areas, and going as far south as 34th and Riverside.
To rent a bike, you just have to download their app and choose a membership plan.
This Machine says you do have to be 18 years or older to use the bikes.
Currently, there are 25 rental stations throughout the area.
